The city as an entity that oppresses, crushes, and disorients. “Into the City” gives form to urban overwhelm, where the protagonists remain anonymous, lost in the incessant flow of the crowd. Lines and colors narrate a frenetic rhythm and a claustrophobia that engulfs the individual, a labyrinth of impersonal interactions. The metropolis becomes a looming shadow: separating and absorbing all at once.
